Description

This beautiful purple 100% superwash fine merino wool & white 50% Super Fine Alpaca & 50% Peruvian wool blend is very soft & warm! I made this cap by hand using the very old technique of nalbinding & added some embroidery by hand as embellishment.

Nalbinded cap with embroidery – purple/white

Size: small/medium*

Yarn: white 50% Super Fine Alpaca & 50% Peruvian wool,

purple 100% superwash fine merino wool

Width measured along the bottom (unstretched): ca 10.5 inch

Prewashed by hand with Kernseife/curd coap (purely vegetable, fragrance-free organic soap)

Washing cold by hand recommended

Please keep in mind that photos sometimes can’t display the true colors like the beautiful purple wool I used for this cap. This one of a kind cap has been carefully worked by hand – nalbinded & hand embroidered. Slight variations within the stitches are possible and a unique characteristic of handmade items.

* The cap fits due to the stretch very comfortably & snug on my head which has a 22.5 inch circumference. The nalbinding has a good stretch to it and should fit also quite well on smaller heads.
