Belt Pouch with 11th century lioness print – black/gold

I printed this exquisite night black cotton Japanese selvedge bull denim by hand using stamps which I carved myself. This lioness roundel pattern is based on a 11th century middle eastern ceramic depicting a lioness. I initially cut this stamp for Sir Brealthen de Raimes elevation at Gulf Wars 2019.

All seams of the belt pouch were reinforced. The whole pouch was lined with lovely gold colored fabric on the inside. All used fabrics were new and pre-washed. The belt pouch is machine washable if needed.
