*omg* I can’t believe that I nearly missed it! But now I am busy working at my 12th century agincourt heart embroidery for my sister Bella. 🙂 I anyway needed a short embroidery break after yesterday, spending most of my day behind the computer working at my next posting… A one day deadline is not much but I am sure I can make a beautiful 12th century agincourt heart embroidery for my sister. 😀

…another sneak peek at my Klosterstich embroidery .2
And another sneak peek at my most recent embroidery for you. 😀 During the last evenings I also found some time to work at my Klosterstich embroidery. I managed to fill all of the outer petal sections of my 14th century inspired rose pattern with Klosterstich embroidery. Now I just need to fill the background with even more embroidery. Anyway, I think it already looks very lovely and I just decided what I will use it for… 🙂

FAQ – 14th century embroidery & medieval inspiration
During the past years I was often asked for the medieval inspiration for the Klosterstich embroidery which you can see at the picture above. And I have not only embroidered this lovely theme – I also already used it for a hand painted mug and a hand painted box… And, well, I might even use it again in the future because I love it so much… 🙂

Scriptorium – my vigil book calligraphy for Hrothgar’s vigil book
And again I have some lovely calligraphy for you. I proudly present to you a picture of the two pages with the calligraphy and pen work I made for Hrothgar’s vigil book. 😀 You maybe remember my recent posting “Scriptorium – sneak peek at yesterdays calligraphy for a vigil book…“. In this previous posting I was just able to show you some small sneak peek photos of the calligraphy for Hrothgar’s vigil book. And today I am able to proudly present to you the whole calligraphy. 😀

Today I have another sneak peek at my most recent Klosterstich embroidery for you. 😀 After all the Meridian Grand Tournament event photos, the video of Hrothgar’s knighting ceremony and before I post pictures of the Knighting scroll and my two pages for Hrothgar’s vigil book you really deserve some new pictures of my most recent embroidery progress… 😀

Sneak peek at some new Klosterstich embroidery :)
After all the recent calligraphy projects, I have again a sneak peek at a new Klosterstich embroidery project for you. 🙂 I started working at this new project some days ago. It is still not finished yet but I thought you might enjoy to see some embroidery again. 🙂 I started this new Klosterstich embroidery project in order to put together a detailed Klosterstich hands-on photo tutorial. Therefore I took many close up photos of how I start and do the Klosterstich embroidery while I was working at this new Klosterstich embroidery project.

14th century rose embroidery pattern for Klosterstich
I have a nice surprise for my dear Craft with Racaire members: A 14th century rose embroidery pattern for Klosterstich! 😀 Wooohooo! It took some time but after working at it for several hours I finally finished another detailed embroidery pattern handout today. It is all about 14th century roses! Or to be me more precise, about one of them – my favorite one… 🙂

Another needle book with Klosterstich embroidery .4
…and besides all the work at the house, I managed to finish another needle book with Klosterstich embroidery for my Travel & Largesse Fund. 🙂 Already for several days now I am busy working at my very first own sewing & crafting room as well as the adjacent rooms. Though it seems to take forever, it somehow pleases me to see the progress. It feels like the house is becoming more and more my/our home. 🙂

Another needle book with Klosterstich embroidery .3
Yes, I know, I already wanted to start working at my Klosterstich hands-on photo tutorial but I have to admit that I just finished another small needle book with Klosterstich embroidery instead. 😀 While I was getting the materials for my hands-on photo tutorial together, I realized that I still have two small patches with 14th century inspired Klosterstich embroidery which I haven’t turned into needle books yet…

…working at another small embroidered box – sneak peek at the top embroidery…
Today I was working at the text for the next FAQ posting about embroidery materials. Unfortunately it takes much longer to put this new posting together than I first expected and it is still far from being complete… *sigh* …and in already less then 2 hours my sweetheart and some good friends are kidnapping me to the SCA event “Tourney of the Foxes”. Ok, the new posting isn’t finished yet and I should start preparing myself for a weekend event. But, well, I didn’t want to leave to “Foxes” without at least another posting for you with which you can start into your well-earned weekend. 🙂
