And finally, after all the progress pictures of my 14th century French pouch project, I can present the finished pouch to you today! 😀 Yes, it took a while but as a German saying says, all good things in life take time. And well, medieval hand embroidery is really not a fast craft. *giggle*

I tell you, one of the best feelings I know, is the feeling when I just finished another embroidery. 😀 There is still some finishing work left but that doesn’t really count as embroidery for me. Anyway, I really love and always enjoy this “Endspurt” time. *grins* …and writing about finishing work – today I found the perfect silk for the back side of the pouch. …but take a look yourself at the sneak peek photo of the fabric and the embroidery – this color is lovely, isn’t it… 😀

Woooohooooo! The last embroidery added! The new and also last embroidered section of my 14th century French pouch is finished! What shall I say – I love it! …and again some embroidery progress concerning my 14th century French pouch. I just finished another section! 🙂 This time I finished the outlines of the left bottom section. Great! 14th century French Pouch .1 – sneak peek progress .17 – First embroidered section finished :)
I just finished one 14th century French pouch for the recent birthday raffle of my blog and still have my other 14th century French pouch waiting for some final embroidery and sewing…. Woooohoooo! Endspurt! …this final embroidery work is getting more and more finished. I am very happy to tell that I just finished the first section of the embroidery for the 14th century French pouch. 😀 …and again I have new photos of the recent progress for you. Enjoy! 😀

…and the first outlines for my 14th century French pouch – enjoy! 😀 Though I don’t know yet with which color(s) my customer would like to see the hood filled and the figures outlined, I took the freedom to already start with some of the “not-so-important” outlines. In my opinion this “not-so-important” section is the small yellow section between the red and green sections and looks like a very slim cross. For this section in the middle I decided to use my white wool-silk thread for the outlines. The white thread nicely accentuates the section but does not distract from the embroidery as you can see on the following picture. I decided to…
