I am back again! …and I am very happy to say that I accomplished my “Mission Medieval Berlin”! *happydance* 😀 I had a rather long “wish-list” of museums which I wanted to visit. Therefore my time schedule for Berlin was very tight. 4 very long days filled with a lot of walking and yes, my feet still hurt! But there is just one word to describe my trip: Awesome! I am so excited! I am going on a trip to Berlin! My motto for this trip will be: Mission “Medieval Berlin”! *gosch* 4 days filled with sightseeing, the zoo, “Checkpoint Charlie”,… – well, you know, all the “modern stuff” one can’t avoid when visiting Berlin. …and definitely as many museums and “ancient and medieval stuff” as possible! 😉 Yes, I will search Berlin for anything medieval I can find. My friends who live in Berlin already warned me that they don’t know any museums or medieval collections they could recommend. Happy birthday to me & my blog “Racaire’s Embroidery & Needlework”! 9 years filled with medieval embroidery! 😀 *gosch* …can you imagine it? I am already posting for 9 years about my embroidery and sewing projects. Yesterday I went for a walk in the beautiful palace garden of the Schönbrunn palace. During my walk I took some photos for you. I really love to show friends or SCA members round in Vienna. When we are done with visiting some of the museums and the other interesting locations in the inner city, there is normally no time left for places like the Schönbrunn palace.
