I tell you, one of the best feelings I know, is the feeling when I just finished another embroidery. 😀 There is still some finishing work left but that doesn’t really count as embroidery for me. Anyway, I really love and always enjoy this “Endspurt” time. *grins* …and writing about finishing work – today I found the perfect silk for the back side of the pouch. …but take a look yourself at the sneak peek photo of the fabric and the embroidery – this color is lovely, isn’t it… 😀

I just finished one 14th century French pouch for the recent birthday raffle of my blog and still have my other 14th century French pouch waiting for some final embroidery and sewing…. Woooohoooo! Endspurt! …this final embroidery work is getting more and more finished. Wooohoooo! Countdown! Just 1 day left! …and I just finished my embroidered 14th century pouch for the raffle! I just managed to finish the embroidered 14th century pouch! …and there is still one day left until the raffle! *happydance* This “petite” pouch is inspired by an actual 14th century pouch from France. I decided to rework two sections of an extant 14th century French pouch for it. I am very happy to announce that I managed to finish the embroidery of my embroidered 14th century pouch for the raffle 2 days before the raffle and the 9th birthday of my blog! …and I love how the embroidery looks like – I am sooooo excited! 😀 Next steps: Cut it, pin it, finish the borders in a 14th century technique & make the cords and lacing… but for now – enjoy some new progress pics 😀 …and for my Advanced…
