The last days I not only worked on getting rid of the Spring Crown Tournament aftermath at home. I also worked my way through all the photos I took during the tournament. And here are some of my personal favorites:
From afar as well as from up close is this pavilion set up quite impressive – all these banners, the tapestries in the background… *sigh* I really love this set up. But I am not quite sure to whom this pavilion, the tapestries and all the banners belong. However, this doesn’t dampen the great inspiration it provides for the future…
Apropos inspiration – here is another one of my favorite SCA couples:
…and I got an even better and more romantic pic of Timothy and Ysmay:
…or well, shall I say… Prince Timothy and Princess Ysmay!
Congratulations! 😀
Yeah, these are the new heirs of the great Kingdom of Meridies! They are so lovely, aren’t they! *sigh* *love* 😀
And – nomen est omen – there was also some fighting at the Meridian Spring Crown Tournament:
…at the picture above you can see my husband in his new crusader kit as he is watching the crown tournament. We started and finished working at his new fighting tunic in the days after Border Raids and before Spring Crown Tournament. Which was not a lot of time but we made it and I think that he looked really great in it. Though he didn’t make it far into the tourney due to a shoulder injury, he enjoyed his fights tremendously. 🙂
…and here are my pictures of the Meridian Spring Crown Tournament:

…and while I was having my small nervous meltdown watching my husband fight for me in the Crown Tournament, some of my friends and fellow Meridian took care of capturing the event in even more photos:
Jessi Moss’s – Spring Crown List photos
Ellen DeLacey’s – 2017 May 26-28 A&S, Crown List, Meridies photos
Debbie Chandler’s – Art-Sci Crown 2017 photos
Thank you guys for capturing all this great moments!
Meridian Spring Crown Tournament was an awesome event! I am glad that there are several awesome pictures so I can share some of the great atmosphere with you! 🙂
…and now that I finally managed to get the project for Spring Crown Tournament behind me and to catch up with all my event photos, I am looking forward to posting about my mother-in-laws OvO bag and it’s medieval arabic inspired embroidery as well as my husbands new crusader inspired fighting tunic next… Stay tuned my friends… 😀
