And more nailbinding – a nailbinded headband with embroidery

… and even more nailbinding for you today – a nailbinded and embroidered headband! 😀

Before I started working at the nailbinded cap, about which I posted yesterday, I finished this nailbinded headband with embroidery which you can see at the picture above.
A headband like this is a great finger exercise. 🙂

And today I finally found the time to take photos of this nailbinding project for you. It’s cute, isn’t it. 😀

I used the same nailbinding technique for this headband as I already used for the nailbinded cap and the nailbinded 12th century cap for my sister Bella.

After nailbinding the head band, it looked rather unfinished to me. Therefore I used the chain stitch to add some rather simple embroidery to decorate the empty space. Chain stitch is such an easy but rewarding embroidery technique. I think the headband looks much better now. 🙂

I hope my sister Noel likes the nailbinded headband I made for her. 🙂
