As you can see on the picture underneath, I made even more needle made lace rings. đ
Once I found out that I also can work at them in the car while my sweetheart is driving without feeling sick, I somehow can’t stop and create more and more of this cute small needle made lace flowers. They are so easy and also so fun to make – I really enjoy working at them and see them growing. đ
Wherever I go, I now always take my “new” needlework box with me which I recently found at a nearby consignment store. My small needlework box is filled with some cotton threads in different colors, some beads, the needles I use for needle made lace and my scissors. Having my needlework box with me nearly all the time allows me to keep my hands busy whenever the mood for some needle made lace strikes me. đ
And here two nice close up pictures for you of my new “needle made lace” ring flower garden – enjoy! đÂ
They are so small and cute, aren’t they?! I hope you enjoyed todays photos of my new colorful needle made lace rings while I continue working at my posting about how I made the basic pattern for my 14th century tightly fitted stockings / women’s hose. I thought you might enjoy this short colorful distraction while I am working at another rather long posting.
Yes, the posting about how I made the basic pattern for my 14th century tightly fitted stockings / women’s hose is already rather long but I still have to add more before the posting is finished and I am completely satisfied with it. It is not easy to visualize one step after another which I normally “just do” without further thinking and well, some of this steps are not easy to describe either but I am doing my best… đ
Whenever I reach a point where I need to think about how I normally make this step and how I can describe the step in the best and most reproducible way for you, I just take a new thread, my needle and make another needle made lace flower. It is like magic – needle made lace keeps my fingers busy but frees my mind. This way I can focus more easily on certain problems and revisit certain steps in my mind…. đ
