12th century embroidery – Saint Michael and the Dragon – sneak peek.5

12th century embroidery – Saint Michael and the Dragon - sneak peek.5

Today a look at the growing background of my “12th century embroidery – Saint Michael and the Dragon“! I also started working at the shield of Saint Michael.

…and I have pictures of yesterdays embroidery progress of the background as well as of the first shield outlines for you.

I think it is very interesting how the added green background slightly alters the appearance of the dragon head – I really like the effect… but anyway, I love my little dragon. 😀

…and finally, here the new progress pictures for you – enjoy! 😀

…and here a sneak peek at the embroidery after some additional hours of work. You can see more progress concerning the background and the outlines for Saint Michaels shield:

In the next step I am going to fill the outlines of Saint Michaels shield with embroidery and the dragon still needs some work at his tail… 😀

Best regards Racaire
